London, 25th January 2008: The conference programme for Data Centre World 2008 has
today been unveiled, with companies including Honeywell Security Systems, The Green
Grid and Keysource set to lead conference sessions on the most talked about topics
in the data centre industry. Data Centre World Conference and Expo is set to take
place at London's Barbican Centre on the 26th and 27th February. To sign up for

The Data Centre World Conference programme will give constructive insights, incisive
viewpoints and keynote presentations from data centre visionaries and experts as
well as industry heavyweights. Top names will lead the keynote sessions including
Steve Bowden, IBM; Richard Barrington, Sun and Oliver Tennert, Transtec UK.
Conference sessions will cover a range of issues such as power management,
virtualisation, managing and hosting a data centre and cabling solutions for the
data centre of the future.

Wednesday's conference programme will have an environmental feel with key sessions
on green issues leading the agenda. Session topics will include the green data
centre, infrastructure contribution to the green data centre and the alternative
approach to environmental responsibility.

"With the government striving to reduce carbon emissions, businesses of all sizes in
every sector are looking to go green," commented Sarah Williams, event director,
Turret Group, the event organisers. "Government interest in data centres has also
been highlighted in the last few months following the set up a public-private
taskforce to look at ways to reduce power in data centres across the UK.
"Power management and energy efficiency will be particularly key for the carbon
