Revolutionary New Program Predicts Future Weight Loss

Released on: January 27, 2008, 5:27 pm

Press Release Author: Richard Fuesel

Industry: Healthcare

Press Release Summary: In a world first, Australian Lifestyle & Fitness (ALF) has
devised a weight loss program that can accurately predict a person's future weight
loss, whilst maintaining a healthy diet.

Press Release Body: Developed as a result of increasing consumer demand for a more
reliable approach to weight loss, ALF recently launched their new online weight loss
program that also comes with a 30-day weight loss guarantee.

Featuring technology that tracks an individual's food intake versus calorie
expenditure for healthy diet, the program also has the capability to interpret the
consumer's unique metabolic rate - critical to effective weight loss and a first for
an online weight loss program.

In 2006, young Melbourne entrepreneurs and fitness enthusiasts, Richard Fuessel and
Michael Jenkins formed Australian Lifestyle & Fitness, in response to a growing need
for healthy weight loss solutions. "People seem to appreciate the simplicity behind
this weight loss program," say Mr. Fuessel. "Many programs just provide diet plans
or exercise routines. Our program takes a complete approach that addresses all
areas of diet and weight loss."

US fitness coach James Royall joined the team in early 2007 to further build ALF's
exercise programs allowing maximum weight loss opportunity for clients. With
guidance from a leading nutritionist, Mr Royall believes that the strength of ALF's
weight loss program lies in its ability to predict and monitor weight loss/ gain
based on scientific calculations of energy consumed versus energy expended.
Furthermore, the solution provides a comprehensive nutritional analysis ensuring
participants are achieving a balanced diet.

In an ever-busy age, the weight loss program also takes the hassle out of food
planning by providing a printable shopping list and recipes to help shed unwanted
kilos. As the slogan suggests these programs have not only taken the guess work out
of dieting, but also make exercise and dieting convenient.

"We have designed the weight loss program to be above all user-friendly. Whilst we
do offer guidelines to improve participant's diet and fitness, there is also room
for people to set their own diet and exercise programs to suit individual
schedules," says Mr. Fuessel.

Research conducted by The Cancer Council reveals a waist measurement of over 100cm
for men, and 85cm for women, can significantly increase the risk of cancer,
including breast, bowel and aggressive prostate cancers. Australian Lifestyle &
Fitness' programs provide valuable analysis and a framework for regular exercise and
a healthy diet that can not only help reduce the risk of cancer, but boost energy
levels and lose weight.
