Democrats on Pace to Pelt the GOP in 2008!

Released on: February 28, 2008, 10:31 pm

Press Release Author: Dave Macy,

Press Release Summary: Internet game uncanny at predicting primary winners now shows
Democrats surging past the GOP this Fall, and Shows Obama winning Ohio, with Texas a
toss up!

Press Release Body:
Hersonville, TN,February,28,2008 -- If the trends of an Internet game
(PeltThePundits.com) are any indication of what is likely to occur in this year's
Presidential Election, the Democrats have all the momentum and Barack Obama could
win Texas and Ohio in next week's primaries.

The game's creator, Joe Butler, says that the Republican "targets" are being pelted
by virtual tomatoes by a 2 to 1 margin. "Over the past three weeks the democrats
have out scored the GOP big time, and the tomato stains on Hillary are just
phenomenal."

The game allows a player to play as either a Democrat or Republican and pelt
politicians and pundits with a peck of juicy tomatoes. "The trends have mirrored the
polls'" says Butler, "and in some cases have been a more accurate predictor of
primary results than some of those professional polling services. Right now our
counter is showing a few interesting trends. Obama is on pace to win Ohio, but Texas
appears to be holding steady for Ms. Clinton."

Perhaps the best element of www.PeltThePundits.com is that the politicians and
pundits have pretty funny things to say. For instance, John McCain says, 'Thanks for
the tomato you little jerk'. It is reminiscent of the way he addressed both Hannity
and Colmes when he appeared on their FOX TV show. Hillary states that she's the only
candidate with 'hot flashes', and Arnold Schwarzenegger repeats lines from Conan the
Barbarian. Other prime targets include John Kerry, Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, Dan
Rather, George Bush, Ted Kennedy, Newt Gingrich, Al Gore, Condi Rice, Colin Powell,
and of course the country's number one conservative talk host Rush Limbaugh.
