consultant, the capacity in which he advised IT companies on business strategy

in development of business strategy, improving customer satisfaction and new
customer acquisition.

Dr Shyam Johari worked as a Vice President for Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) -
America from June 2000 to August 2006. At TCS, Dr. Johari was responsible for
business operations of Hi-Tech vertical, South Central Region and Western Region at
various times. Dr. Johari also led the TCS-America eSecurity offering from 2000 to
2005. Prior to this, Dr Johari worked with Compaq (Tandem) from 1987 to 2000 as
Director of Product Performance, System Integration, and India Software Development
for NonStop Division. From 1975 to 1987, Dr. Johari was with Burroughs (Unisys) in
various management roles. Dr. Johari holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from University of
Illinois at Chicago.
