if you utilize Great Plains Accounting for DOS or Windows:
1. GPA Techknowledge database. Alba Spectrum has access and good familiarity with
Great Plains Accounting technical support and known cases database, plus we are
familiar with GPA screens and files
2. GPA support routines. If you are on GPA 9.0 for DOS - it has limitation on hard
disk space: it should be FAT and do not exceed 4GB. If this is the case - you
should regularly purge historical transactions to free up the room for current
transactions. Good option in this case is to switch to GPA for Windows, of course
you should historically own GPA for Windows licenses
3. Typical fixes. In the case if you are out of limits in your historical files,
you should consider to delete them and copy the same files from Lesson Company.
Also one of the most popular GPA files, which tends to become corrupted is
GRTPLS.DAT. You should always have backup of this file, placed aside. In worst
case scenario you can copy this file from GPA installation CD
