Group show featuring contemporary Indian art `ASPIRATIONS`

Press Release Summary: Recently (on 22nd February), N.G.O. Sahaj Sankalp and Studio
Vasant organised \"Aspirations\" a group show of Alka Raghuvanshi, Baljit Chadha, J.P.
Singh, Jeet Kumar, Prabhakar Kolte, Prince Chand, Probir Sikdar, Reenu Kashyap,
Vazda Khan, Victor Vijay Kumar and many others. The show has been curated by Archana
B. Sapra and will continue till 27th February after which the same exhibition will
open for the view at Studio Vasant from 1st - 10th March.

Vasant organised \"Aspirations\" a group show of Alka Raghuvanshi, Baljit Chadha, J.P.
Singh, Jeet Kumar, Prabhakar Kolte, Prince Chand, Probir Sikdar, Reenu Kashyap,
Vazda Khan, Victor Vijay Kumar and many others. The show has been curated by Archana
B. Sapra and will continue till 27th February after which the same exhibition will
open for the view at Studio Vasant from 1st - 10th March.
The group show featuring contemporary Indian art is aimed to showcase the artists'
creativity as well as a social reform tool for effective dissemination of human
values of sharing and caring. The invited artists are requested to contribute 40 %
of the sale proceeds from their work in the show for Sahaj Sankalp which is a non
profit, non-government, voluntary organization, committed to the care of children in
need.
The aim & objective of the organization is to help poor and needy children by giving
them education and nutrition in a family home called BALGRAH to provide a strong
foundation for an independent and happy life. Since its inception in 2001 at New
Delhi suburbs of Kalkaji, Sahaj Sankalp has expanded its services for children in
need to many other Indian cities. Today, there are 8 centres/projects under
establishment which are allied projects like medical aid and DSP - Distant Support
Programmes. The problem of needy children in India is huge and Sahaj Sankalp is
trying to help as many children as possible within its capacity.
The exhibition was inaugurated by eminent artist Sidharth, along with him Baljit
Chadha (Director, Studio Vasant), Dr. Rajeev Nagpal (Sahaj Sankalp), Anjali Nagpal,
Karan Bajwa (Director, Public Sector, Microsoft India), Painter Victor Vijay Kumar,
Jeet Kumar, J.P. Singh and many others were also present there.
