HELPING CHILDREN LOOK DEEPER

A milestone was reached during the Black History Month Film Fest Tour. KoolKidz
Television & Publishing LLC, one of the only independently Black owned & operated
production companies of Afro-centric animated children's short films has garnered
it's 40th Official Film Festival selection. Based out of Jamaica, New York, founder
Rich McKeown adapts children's picture books and brings them to life on the screen.
With captions featured on his DVD's, Rich states that his work is a great way to
re-introduce our children to the passion of reading. "Since children are sitting
more and more in front of the screen, whether it's the TV or computer, parents can
feel more comfortable with what their children are watching!"

Along with the many film festival screenings, KoolKidz Television & Publishing,
LLC, has also received the 2007 NAPPA Honors Award, Dove "Family Seal" award, and
most recently was a finalist in the 2007 Aegis Video & Film Production Award for the
film, Wormhead. KoolKidz brings fresh, intelligent programming to today\'s
sophisticated children. Our mission is to instill pride and knowledge of self,
particularly for children of color, with high quality programs consisting of
original music and artwork that both entertains and educates.

Featured titles are Kung Fu Lee, Wormhead and also Obara & the Merchants, which
stars the voice of "Last Comic Standing's" Alonzo Bodden. These lil' films have been
screened throughout the US, Canada, France & India. Previews of all products are

Rich McKeown is currently working on the sequel to the Obara series. Obara the
Gatekeeper as well as Obara & the Merchants, is a joint venture with Water Daughter
Publishing. Rich plans to complete developing a fully animated television series by
years end.
