The competition and tasting, to be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., will be presented by Meredith Sobel, Founder and Director at Sobel Wellness and Ilana Eberson, founder of Real Live People Party, a networking and singles web site and company.

Join Real Live People Party and Chef Meredith of Sobel Wellness for an evening of cooking, competing and eating with new friends. Meredith will lead the class in a cooking competition to see who can produce the best Mediterranean appetizers. We\'ll start with a short lecture on the history and health benefits of a Mediterranean diet followed by our cook off.
The group will be randomly divided into two person teams and each team will work on one recipe with instructions provided. Our class will be supervised so you don\'t need to know how to cook in order to have a fair shot at winning. Just bring a competitive spirit, an open mind and a willingness to learn! Questions will be answered as we go along and assistance will be available at all times.
Recipes will be rated by Ilana, Meredith and a 3rd party judge, and the winning couple will win a special healthy culinary themed prize. Get your aprons and knives ready, this is healthy cooking for the heart!
After the competition and judging, we\'ll enjoy eating our creations as well as meet and mingle the rest of the players or to get to know your co-competitor a little better.
