Press Release Body: Jon Izen\'s Black and White Wins NYICFF Audience Award

Black and White, the iLaugh.com microseries featured at the 2008 New York
International Children\'s Film Festival (NYICFF), walked away with the festival\'s
prestigious Audience Award for viewers aged 8 to 14.

Directed by March Entertainment\'s Jon Izen, Black and White is a wacky, ultra-short
cartoon about two easily amused, squeaky-voiced talking squares. The characters were
not only used to introduce the NYICFF - North America\'s largest children\'s film
festival - but also adapted into broadcast ads to promote it.

The NYICFF, which ran from Feb. 29 to March 16, gave Black and White the Audience
Award in the 8- to 14-year-old viewer category at its \"Best of the Fest\" closing
night Gala, held at the DGA Theater and hosted by the New Yorker\'s Adam Gopnik.

The sold-out festival, which is often called the \"Kids\' Cannes,\" determined the
winners based on NYICFF jury and audience voting. The 2008 NYICFF jury included
Susan Sarandon, Gus Van Sant, Matthew Modine and many other red-carpet delegates.
Screenings were completely sold out, with a total attendance of more than 20,000
viewers.

In his acceptance speech - read by two 12-year-old fans of the zany cartoon who
served as proxies - Izen remarked: \"It was an honour being involved with the
Festival, and more so knowing that the audience could have a little laugh for the 18
seconds it takes to watch my shorts. And by that I didn\'t mean to say \'18 seconds to
wash my shorts\' - my mom does my laundry, not the viewing audience.\"

\"Oh Man!\" he continued. \"Ahhhhhh HaHaHaHa, oh man, Oh Man...OOOOOOhhhhhhhh Man...now
that...is...crazy!\"

Izen is currently animating and recording a slate of 75 new Black and White clips, a
process which he says has done \"crazy things to my voice box.\"

The show, including the custom NYICFF ads, are available for viewing on iLaugh.com,
