Teenage Cancer Trust Concert DVD Launched

Released on: March 25, 2008, 8:28 am

Press Release Author: Hannah Lane/apt marketing & pr ltd

Industry: Entertainment

Press Release Summary: The Who, Noel Gallagher, Paul Weller, The Cure, Kasabian,
Kaiser chiefs, Bloc Party, The Bees, Judas Priest and Razorlight feature in a DVD of
previously unseen footage from the Teenage Cancer Trust benefit shows.

Press Release Body: Previously unreleased footage from the legendary Teenage Cancer
Trust benefit shows at the Royal Albert Hall will be available on DVD from Monday 14
April.

Packed with performances that capture the spirit of this unique event, including
one-off collaborations between Noel Gallagher and Paul Weller and Razorlight and The
Who's Roger Daltrey, the DVD will be available from all good music retailers and via
the TCT website.

A portion of profits from the sale of the DVD will go to Teenage Cancer Trust,
helping them to continue to build specialist teenage cancer units within the NHS for
young people with cancer.

Filmed live at London's spectacular Royal Albert Hall, artists featured in the DVD
include The Who, Noel Gallagher, Paul Weller, The Cure, Kasabian, Kaiser Chiefs,
Razorlight, Bloc Party and Judas Priest.

Tickets to the 2008 gigs at the Royal Albert Hall are now on sale and are proving to
be as in-demand as ever with Muse, Paul Weller and Duffy selling out within hours.
However, there is limited availability for The Fratellis and an evening of comedy
with Noel Fielding and more exciting acts to be announced on Monday March 10.
Tickets and further information are available from www.teenagecancertrust.org.

The TCT gigs were the brainchild of The Who's Roger Daltrey CBE, patron of Teenage
Cancer Trust, who has, over the last eight years, persuaded the best of British
talent available across rock, pop and comedy to give up their time to raise money
for this unique charity.
