Manchester-based UKFast has become the first to be named \'Best Hosting Provider\' four times consecutively. While UKFast is no stranger to hosting gongs, this latest award has been bestowed for the first time with specific focus on the provision of dedicated servers.
Speaking of his delight about winning again UKFast Managing Director Lawrence Jones said the award was a testimony to his company\'s commitment to seeking out and employing the best and brightest local talent.
\"The technology industry relies on people and I have some of the very best. So I would like to thank my team,\" Lawrence said as he accepted the gong.
After the ceremony he spoke about building for the future. \"Every year we return and look at where we can improve our offering. In the immediate future we are recruiting within the customer service team in order to further improve our service to the growing number of businesses that join the UKFast network."
The 10th Annual UK Internet Industry Awards were held at the Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square, London on March 14th. To take the spoils UKFast had to come through a rigorous evaluation. All of the finalists\' systems were extensively monitored by Epitiro Technologies. Industry judges then scrutinised the top players and deemed UKFast to provide the most complete package.
Other winners on the night included Plusnet, Datanet and Eclipse Internet. They say March is awards season. It certainly is for web hosting stars UKFast.
