66ers pitching, getting shutout 6-0 Sunday afternoon in San Bernardino. The
Mavericks are now scoreless over their last 24 consecutive innings. The Mavericks
were able to avoid falling into the 8th spot by virtue of their win in the
season-finale against the Hornets, effectively dodging the bullet of having to deal
with Kobe Bryant and the Lakers in the first round. Instead Dallas will be taking on
the second-seeded New Orleans Hornets, a much better match up for the Mavericks in
my opinion.

of off-season change(s) to try and improve their team for next season. For some
teams, the ingredient to success could only be one player or coach away. While the
others will have another disappointing season waiting for them next year.
