Author`s Website Gets Hacked, Prompts `Hacking Revenge Celebration Sale`

Released on: April 22, 2008, 2:07 am

Press Release Author: Charles Burke

Industry: Marketing

Press Release Summary: Sales soared after hacked website announced a \"Hacking
Revenge Celebration Sale\", proving good luck can be pulled from bad luck.

Press Release Body: Hundreds of thousands of websites are hacked annually, and the
response is almost always frustration and anger -- but not in every case. Recently
hackers struck one website and the owner took revenge by celebrating.

\"Ironically,\" said the owner, Charles Burke, an expert on synchronicity who has
written books on the subject, \"they chose to hack a website that sells a book
teaching how to turn \'bad luck\' into good.\"

It was Napoleon Hill who wrote the famous quote: \'In every adversity is the seed of
an equivalent or greater advantage.\' To illustrate that point, Mr. Burke decided to
use the hacking to show exactly how any situation can be transformed into good luck.
He ran a sale, the Internet\'s first \"Hacking Revenge Celebration Sale\".

The result was a strong surge in books sold. During the one-week event, his website,
www.More-Luck.com, sold 400 percent more books in 7 days than in the first 7 weeks
of the year combined.

Visitors responded so positively to the \"never give up\" spirit of the event, in
fact, that the celebration sale has been extended until the end of April.

This event proves to the public that even the destruction of a website can be turned
into a plus. They find strong confirmation here of the ideas in Mr. Burke\'s book
titled \"Command More Luck.\"

Available for free download at the website is a PDF report titled \"Five No-Fail Tips
for Turning Bad Luck Into Good - Every Time\" from
