Shifting Times

Los Angeles, CA - Jean-Claude Gerard Koven, metaphysical speaker, award-winning
author of Going Deeper: How to Make Sense of Your Life When Your Life Makes No
Sense, Prism House Press, and former United Press International (UPI) weekly
Religion and Spirituality Forum columnist, will be a featured speaker at the 7th
Annual New Living Expo at San Francisco's Concourse Exhibit Center, Room 6, at 11:00
a.m. His discussion will focus on how the major shift happening to this planet is
affecting people's health and well-being, how you can make sense of this shift for
yourself in increasingly difficult times, and what active role you can take.

Koven's Going Deeper is the acclaimed recipient of Best Metaphysical Book Awards
from Allbooks Review (Editor's Choice Award) and USA Book News. Jean Houston, PhD,
Director of the Foundation for Mind Research, calls it "mythic and masterful. a book
to be read and re-read."

"We believe knowledge is power. The more informed we are the better equipped we are
to make informed choices to live consciously and sustainably now and in the future,"
state New Living Expo producers Ken and Corinna Kaufman. The three day event
"promises change in every way, shape, and form - nationally, globally, locally,"
they add.

During recent book and lecture tours through Cyprus, Phoenix, Santa Fe, the San
Francisco Bay Area, Hawaii, southern California, the Pacific Northwest, and Texas,
Koven made numerous appearances as a radio and TV guest, and connected with
audiences at Los Angeles' renowned metaphysical bookstore The Bodhi Tree, East West
Books, the New Thought Church, Unity churches, the In the Heart of the Awakened
Conference and Wesak (both at Mt. Shasta), the Rogue Valley Metaphysical Library
(Ashland, OR), the Sanctuary of Mentalphysics, and at numerous Body, Mind, Spirit
Expos. He was also the keynote speaker at the opening of Asheville, North
Carolina's Center of Unlimited Possibilities. Listeners have remarked on his
"uncommon humor and wisdom" and how they received a "life-altering view of reality."

Koven, a highly successful entrepreneur who started and ran more than a dozen
businesses, studied with spiritual masters and led awareness-expanding workshops on
six continents during his work years. He was born in France, educated at NYC
