More than 100 brides-to-be attended the hotel's most glamorous wedding fayre to date recently. A chocolate fountain flowed and among the exhibitors were the county's finest wedding dress boutiques, photographers, hairdressers, make-up artists, cake-makers and florists - in fact everything anyone who is getting married in Suffolk this year will need.
The highlight of the fayre was the arrival of the fairy-tale pumpkin wedding coach which was used at the wedding of Katie Price (aka Jordan) and Peter Andre. The coach stood outside the hotel entrance accompanied by two beautiful horses to greet guests.
Bedford Lodge's Conference & Events coordinator Rachel Isaacson said: "Bedford Lodge is is one of the finest wedding venues in Suffolk and the wedding fayre was a huge success. A total of 106 brides-to-be registered with us which is a record so there are certainly going to be a lot of weddings in Suffolk this year. We are now busy preparing for our next wedding fayre which takes place on Sunday 14 September."
Bedford Lodge is the ideal location for a wedding in Newmarket. The hotel's three self-contained banqueting suites can accommodate from between 10 to 150 guests.
