Press Release Body: Interested musicians are invited to enter their previous or new work in a song-writing contest, the winners of which will have their work presented in the new psychological thriller. Highest consideration will include songs that broadly appeal to the general population, high school crowd and up. Musical genres to submit include Alternative Rock, House, Hip Hop, R&B, Electronica, Heavy Metal, Ballads, and Cinematic scores. If your musical tastes fit into another genre and feel your work can underscore some dramatic element in film please submit it. Themes in the movie include betrayal, forgiveness, sacrifice, concealed love, mystery, friendship, and frightening journeys into a hidden past with all its psychological battles.
Eastgate is also branching into written media, including a series of family-friendly fantasy thrillers about three children who are the unwitting subjects of an ancient prophecy. Eastgate plans to make screen adaptations of the written works, and invites musicians to consider submitting work for future films and other current films in various stages of production. The first book is due out in 2009.
