(New York - Thursday, June 26, 2008) - Jetcast radio/TV streaming announces an
agreement with WOR New York and has already begun providing the station with
upgraded online internet audio streaming capabilities via patented Jetcast
technology on the Buckley Broadcasting flagship station.
One of America's first commercial radio stations, WOR began broadcasting in 1922 and
is now streaming a roster of legendary talent including John Gambling in mornings,
Steve Malzberg in afternoons, also Dr. Joy Browne, Joan Hamburg, Ken and Daria
Dolan, and Joey Reynolds.
WOR typically leads the radio industry from a technical perspective. In 2002, WOR
became the first AM radio station in New York to begin broadcasting all programs
digitally using the new HD Radio technology from iBiquity Digital. In 2006, WOR
built an entirely new all-digital transmitter facility from the ground up and
launched it while almost simultaneously building and re-locating to a new data-based
studio facility in lower Manhattan.

content carried by hundreds of WOR Radio Network affiliate stations nationwide.
