Press Release Author: Kirti K. Khalsa

Press Release Summary: If you feel your memory is failing you as you age, you may be
at risk of developing Alzheimer\'s disease. Take this simple quiz to see whether you

Press Release Body: Tucson, AZ ( NewyorkPressRelease ) - Do you feel like your
memory is not what it used to be?

Do you think you are losing some of your mental sharpness?

Have you been experiencing quite a few "senior moments" recently?

If so, you could be suffering from the preliminary stages of Alzheimer's disease.

In the time it takes to read this sentence, 200 people in the United States have
turned 55, 10 people have turned 65, and many others have turned 75, 80, and 85.
Research has found that age is the main risk factor for developing memory loss.

According to Dharma Singh Khalsa, M.D., President and Medical Director of Tucson's
non-profit Alzheimer's Research and Prevention Foundation, if you are entering your
mid-life years and find that your memory is starting to slip, you might have cause
to be concerned.

The ARPF has been working to disseminate information to help people build healthy
brains and combat Alzheimer's disease since 1993.

Dr. Dharma has prepared a memory quiz to help individuals determine whether or not
they might be suffering from early stages of Alzheimer's disease. Early detection of
Alzheimer's is critical. Many of the current treatments available are much more
effective in slowing the progression of the disease when administered as early as
possible.

The following questions are taken from his quiz. See how you score.
