distinct mix of Spring/ Summer 09 collections by emerging designers from the US and
UK starting October 3 – 5. With a mixture of music, fashion and philanthropy,
innovative designers from across the globe that will showcase their collections to
editors, stylists, media, buyers, clients, celebrities, and an assortment of
industry professionals and VIP's.

distinct mix of Spring/ Summer 09 collections by emerging designers from around the
globe starting October 3 – 5. With a mixture of music, fashion and philanthropy,
BKSF channels the momentum of the fashion industry to empower Brooklyn's evolution
and support striving designers by providing a professional forum to showcase their
creations.

After inclusion in the New York tourism guide, BK Fashion Week{end} (BKFW) has been
revered as the destination for style and fashion in Brooklyn. The New York Times
Style Magazine dedicated a full page feature of the 2006 premiere event. BKFW has
also captured the attention of mainstream media such as: ABC, BBC, Bravo, FOX, NBC
and German Elle.

This season BKSF presents an eclectic buffet of innovative designers from across the
globe that will showcase their collections to editors, stylists, media, buyers,
clients, celebrities, and an assortment of industry professionals and VIP's.
Claiming the catwalk this season are celebrated designers from the US and UK like
Joan Vaccianna, Catou, Fuesik, Nico & Adrian, Nina Athinson, Vivienne Pash, Maria
Malhmann, Joneez, Alador & Smith, Riddim Driven, and Inkslingers.

With continuous attendance growth from 500 to 3,000 guests, BKSF has gained
committed sponsorships due to its top notch productions and their use of preeminent
designers. Past sponsors included: Target, Baccarat, FreshLook, Becca Cosmetics,
West Elm, Brooklyn Tourism and New York Water Taxi. Jay Wilson, lauded by Tom Ford
and Gavin Douglas, winner of London Fashion Week's Fashion Fringe 2006 Award, were
two of the many talented designers who showcased at BKFW.

This years feature sponsor FreshLook is joined by About Time Boutique, Alex The
Magazine, Brooklyn Borough President Office, Brooklyn Concierge, Brooklyn Tourism,
JTE Spirits, NU Hotel , NY City Explorers, Ocean Style Magazine and Total Black TV.
