"I created MyQuickDinnerRecipes.com for Moms like me who want to prepare delicious home-cooked meals but don't want to spend all day slaving away in the kitchen," the site's creator, Alexis Rodrigo, says.
"However, MyQuickDinnerRecipes.com is more than just a collection of recipes," Rodrigo adds.
The site also provides practical tips to make cooking easier and faster, including:

The site offers a free newsletter that gives cooking and meal planning tips and advice exclusive to subscribers. The newsletter is authored by Rodrigo and her sister, Victoria Ado, who has a diploma in Culinary Arts and Kitchen Management from the International School for Culinary Arts and Hotel Management.
"I've been having formal cooking and baking lessons since I was in grade school. However, not every one has that luxury. Many home cooks do not experience cooking success because of poor cooking habits or simply not knowing any better. We'd like to help bridge that gap," Rodrigo says.
MyQuickDinnerRecipes.com publishes new recipes and tips every week, and the newsletter is sent every two weeks.
"It is very rewarding to have a family meal and see and hear your children and husband gushing over the food," Rodrigo says. "The best part is knowing that it only took you a few minutes to do it."
