Sting! 3 An Evening of Art, Music and Performance at Boston`s Beehive

Press Release Body: (Boston, MA)- On Wednesday, November 5th 2008 from 7:00PM
10:00PM The Beehive's co-owner and resident curator Jennifer Epstein and artist and
co-curator Jeff Perrott will host the third installment in The Beehives continuing
art series entitled, Sting! 3.

The ongoing event always signifies the launch of a new art installation at The
Beehive and highlight's an evening of great entertainment, great food along with
amazing art.

Some of the participating artists in Sting! 3 include: James Stroud, Predrag
Dimitrejevic, Jane D. Marsching, Susan Dory, David X. Levine, Fred Liang, Cristi
Rinklin and Remi Thornton. Featured musical performances will be two dynamic sets
by Boston's own Beatboxer Trihedral, the hopped-up country and rockabilly sounds of
The Coachmen and the beautiful, yet powerful jazz of vibraphonist, pianist and
composer Alexei Tsiganov along with his Quartet. The evening will also feature a
video installation from Environmental Services and the amazing food of Executive
Chef Rebecca Newell.

The Beehive Sting! Series is an on-going art series that presents the diversity of
art now. The goal is to find work of the moment that is engaging, challenging and
exciting, providing viewers with a broad exposure to contemporary art and providing
artists a chance to get outside of the white box. Unlike a gallery or museum, The
Beehive is not limited by the confines of an aesthetic agenda and can select a
variety of innovative work.

Sting! 3 will be bringing together works from all corners of the city of Boston as
well as the incorporation of several pieces from New York city.

Participating galleries include: Center Street Studios, Steven Zevitas Gallery (the
work of David X. Levine will be seen concurrently at The Beehive's Sting! 3 and at
the Steven Zevitas Gallery's current exhibition entitled "Sex, Drugs and Rock +
Roll") and Walker Contemporary (Stephanie Walker will open Walker Contemporary at
450 Harrison Avenue on Friday, November 7 and the work of Susan Dory will be seen
concurrently at The Beehive's Sting! 3 and in Walker Contemporary's inaugural
exhibition).

The Beehive or "La Ruche" -- "the beehive" in French for which it is named - was an
early 20th-century artists' colony in Paris where the likes of Matisse and Chagall
worked and made merry. Today The Beehive is an underground Bohemian bistro featuring
