Center Parcs Unveils The Height Of Luxury With New Treehouse Accommodation

Released on: August 13, 2010, 1:00 pm
Author: Alex Dehnert
Industry: Travel

Now on sale for short breaks in 2011, the three brand new Treehouses will take their place in the 400 acres of woodland at Center Parcs Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire. The lavish two-storey Treehouses will feature 4 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms and private balconies, an open plan kitchen, dining and living area, a separate games and entertainment den, sauna and private hot tub.

Each Treehouse is nestled within the heart of the forest making them the perfect woodland sanctuary. Outdoor decking and balconies will provide fantastic views of the surrounding woodland.

Whilst continuing to embody the natural essence of Center Parcs, Treehouses will also offer those special extras to make breaks even more memorable. A personal Treehouse host, dedicated car parking and organic local produce and luxury toiletries are just a few of the added extras that will make the Treehouses the most desirable accommodation at Center Parcs..

In keeping with the surroundings, the Treehouses will have a simple rustic woodland feel. Chestnut brown was used as the core colour after it was identified as the most appropriate colour to blend in with the forest’s natural tones. As ecology and sustainability is paramount to Center Parcs, landscaping work will be kept to a minimum to ensure as little disruption to the woodland area as possible. In fact the Treehouses will be the most sustainable buildings that Center Parcs has ever developed and will feature groundsource heating, grey water recycling from the hot tubs and will achieve an A standard energy efficiency rating.

Treehouses are set to be the perfect holiday option for families and groups offering a very special setting in amongst the trees, whilst still taking advantage of the vast array of facilities, activities and familiar ambience present at all Center Parcs villages.
