Albany , Georgia – BearManor Media is proud to announce the release of its new book Yabba Dabba Doo!, the biography/autobiography of prolific voice actor Alan Reed.

For the first time ever, we're shown the warm and entertaining autobiography that Reed had sketched out and begun writing, with the blanks filled in by co-author Ben Ohmart. New to us, too, are Reed's warm letters, essays and poetry; Fred Allen's letters to him; and many rare photos of Reed's work and family.

Add to that his extensive credits list of radio, film, television and stage work, and you'll see why he was very content with his accomplishments at the end of his very productive life.

About the authors
If you're not old enough to remember radio's premiere pompous poet, Falstaff Openshaw, on The Fred Allen Show, perhaps you recall that rockhead, Fred Flintstone from The Flintstones, that modern Stone Age family. Both boisterous voices – and more – came from the talented Alan Reed, one of the greatest personalities ever to light up radio, television and films. Ben Ohmart has authored numerous voice-actor biographies and runs BearManor Media, a small publishing company dedicated to bringing out books on the unheralded supporting players of film, radio and television
