“Evita” is coming to Switzerland! The unforgettable musical from “Phantom of the Opera” legend Andrew Lloyd Webber will be arriving in Zurich on the 9th of November 2010, and running every night until the 21st of the month. Taking place at Theater 11 on Thurgauerstrasse 7 Road, the musical show also includes dinner for groups with fifteen or more people in attendance. The show starts at 7.30pm every night, except for Sunday when it begins at 6.30pm, with a matinee performance commencing at 3.30pm on Saturday afternoons and 2.30pm on Sundays.

The musical show depicts the rise and fall of Argentina icon Eva Peron, and is written by Tim Rice with music by the famous Mr. Lloyd Webber. The show has won 15 highly prestigious theatre awards and achieved an international number one smash success with the song “Don’t Cry For Me, Argentina”, as well as being made into a massively successful motion picture starring pop icon Madonna.

Stars from London’s West End help make up the impressive ensemble cast of the Zurich show, together with a live orchestra and it is sure to be a heavily attended event.
