The education sector is set to descend on Malaysia next month for the 2010 Facon Education Fair.

Cities across the south-east Asian country will be hosting the event throughout December, with the tour kicking off in Johor Bahru before heading to Alor Setar, which is a relatively short journey from Langkawi hotels.

Alor Setar will stage the fair on December 14th, with higher education institutions, students and their families from across the region invited to attend.

China, Germany, Japan, Singapore, the Netherlands and the US have all been represented in the past and around 60,000 visitors typically check out the events.

Facon have said a trip to the occasion is "a must" for students, school leavers, young working adults, parents and academic staff.
