Festive Flicks in the Piazza will give travellers staying in Perth hotels next month the chance to get in the Christmas spirit.

Taking place between December 13th and 24th 2010, the occasion will see a whole host of seasonal favourites shown on the eight-metre LED screen at Northbridge Piazza.

The event will kick off at 18:30 local time on Monday December 13th with 1994 hit The Santa Clause, in which Tim Allen plays a regular man recruited to take on the role of Father Christmas.

Yuletide classic It's a Wonderful Life will be shown at 18:30 on Thursday 16th, with other highlights including Gremlins on Saturday 18th and Elf on Christmas Eve.

A live stream of the City of Perth Nativity will also be broadcast at the site between December 21st and 23rd, with coverage of the spectacle kicking off at 18:30 each day.

People staying in one of the 5 star hotels Perth has available next month will not have to shell out a cent to watch these screenings, while the organisers have encouraged attendees to bring a picnic blanket along for the occasion.

The piazza is located in the Northbridge area of the Western Australian capital, on the corner of James St and Lake St.
