imaging, management and workflow software to enhance the organization's state-of-the-art technology infrastructure, which includes an innovative, custom-built insurance tracking system. Adventist Risk Management provides complete risk management and insurance services for the worldwide denominational
organizations of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

"Because our tasks are so broad and pervasive, we decided to meet the challenges head-on by developing a custom software application to track the insurance needs of all Church entities and employees," said Dallas Kindopp, IT manager for Adventist

The enormous task of administering these risk and insurance requirements put a premium on selecting a flexible and scalable document imaging and workflow solution that could be integrated quickly and easily with all business software and processes. An existing document imaging system failed to meet the organization's progressive technology needs.

Adventist Risk Management turned to ImageNow to streamline processes that generate 3,500 documents a day. ImageNow's powerful yet simple solution easily handles the load while allowing the organization to make rapid, nonprogrammatic modifications to
workflow and other system functionality.

Because ImageNow's design empowers customers, Kindopp quickly was able to get his hands dirty creating custom workflow queues without programming. These claims management queues enhance the visibility of high-dollar insurance claims and route back claims from transferred employees that need adjustment.

"Workflow features are such strong points for ImageNow," said Kindopp. "I already am able to do things with ImageNow workflow that couldn't be done in five years with our other solution."

The original ImageNow deployment serves Adventist Risk Management home offices in Riverside, Calif., and Silver Spring, Md., though worldwide expansion is on the horizon with healthcare and other departments to follow.
