Music fans are set to descend on South Australia on New Year's Day for the 2011 Summadayze festival at Rymill Park.

Some of the biggest names and hottest emerging artists have been lined up to play the event, which is now in its 12th year and will also call at the Gold Coast, Melbourne and Perth.

Headlining the show will be French DJ and producer David Guetta, who may be familiar to people staying at hotels in Adelaide through his numerous collaborations with the likes of Akon, Flo Rida, Kelly Rowland and The Black Eyed Peas.

Fellow studio wizard Boys Noize – best known for remixing bands such as Bloc Party and Justice - is co-headlining the festival, while Tinie Tempah, Chase & Status and Miami Horror are among the other leading acts on the bill.

With such a stellar line-up, anyone planning to attend would be advised to book their tickets and Adelaide city hotels as soon as possible.

Passes can be purchased online for A$117.36, or in cash from Ticketmaster outlets for up to a A$15 discount on credit card and handling charges.

Gates at Rymill Park will open at 12:00 local time and the entertainment is scheduled to last until 22:00.
