A special event at the O2 Arena means Prague hotels are likely to see an influx of ABBA fans next month.

ABBA The Show has been described as the ultimate tribute to the Swedish chart-toppers, having visited 33 countries and performed to more than two million people worldwide.

On Saturday January 15th 2011, the show arrives in the Czech capital for one night only.

Featuring the talents of Swedish tribute band Waterloo, the National Symphony Orchestra of London and conductor Matthew Freeman, this extravaganza is sure to attract ABBA devotees from far and wide.

The cast also includes two musicians, Ulf Andersson and Mats Ronander, who performed with the original members.

Audience members can expect to hear ABBA classic hits such as Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen, Waterloo, SOS and Knowing Me, Knowing You.

The show uses the group's music to tell the story of their remarkable career, beginning with the first meeting of the four members at the end of the 1960s before moving on to their Eurovision Song Contest breakthrough in 1974 and subsequent chart domination.

Tickets prices for the event, which is due to begin at 20:00 local time, range from 690 Czech koruna to 990 Czech koruna (£23.30 and £33.50).

For more information on this event, visit the O2 Arena website.
