LateRooms.com - Head to Rome for a Carlos Amorales Exhibition

The show is entitled Remix and will be available for guests at 5 star hotels in Rome to view at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni until February 27th 2011. Amorales has brought over five installations and one performance to showcase at the prestigious arts space, with all of the pieces relating to his Liquid Archive - a digital database of images, texts and other items that have inspired him. "The exhibition title Remix, a musical term, derives from this choice of amplifying the hybridisation process that lies at the origin of each individual work," noted the venue. Amorales is a Mexican artist who has put together a variety of intriguing shows in his past, such as organising wrestling bouts in which athletes would wear masks with his features on. The creations in Remix are an "ultramodern" collection of artistic expressions. Tickets to enter the venue cost €12.50 (£10.45) and are available online or at the box office, but it is free to get in on the first Wednesday of each month.
