Music lovers will be heading for a stay in Gold Coast accommodation next month after attending the Big Day Out
music festival.
A wide array of acts have been lined up to grace the numerous stages that will be
erected at the Parklands on January 23rd 2011, with the likes of Rammstein, Tool,
Grinderman and MIA set to headline.
However, cheap accommodation Gold Coast guests heading to the event should make sure they do
not arrive too late, as there are plenty of big-name bands set to play earlier in
the day.
The Gold Coast's own indie-pop upstarts Operator Please are due to perform on the
Green Stage between 12:00 and 12:40 local time, while hipster favourites Crystal
Castles will be playing the Boiler Room from 16:30 to 17:15.
Other bands that are sure to prove popular with last minute accommodation customers at the
festival include Wolfmother, Primal Scream and LCD Soundsystem.
Unfortunately for fans of any of these acts who failed to move quickly enough,
tickets are already sold out and a random ballot in which 500 passes are given away
each week is set to end on December 23rd 2010.
However, those who are fortunate enough to be going should head to the Parklands
ahead of the gates opening at 11:00.
For more information on this event, visit the Big Day Out website.
