Gospel Music Has Gone Crazy with Hostyle Gospel?

Released on: January 11, 2011, 4:48 am
Author: Hostyle Gospel Ministries
Industry: Entertainment

Christian Hip-Hop group Hostyle Gospel set is to release its third LP entitled Immortal Combat on January 11, 2011. The project, serving as a follow up to 2007's Let Me At Em, dishes out the same non-compromising Gospel the group has been known for. This time out pairing a more mainstream sound with an ever more convicting message. On the their lead single “Coming Back Again”, the group blends an arrangement of synth and heavy bass lines, produced by Samuel Shaw, with the crooning of Jarrett Johnson to create a song that vividly depicts the endtimes. Tracks like “Somebody's Father” and “Calling Out to You” tackle real-life issues such as the absence of father figures and the struggles of addiction. Then anthems like “Thanks 4 Comin Out” and “Glory” are sure to have crowds across the country with their C's up.

Hostyle Gospel incorporates more features on this project than any of their previous work. With considerable contributions from Camp Liberation, Redemption, and Noah I. Brown, this project has the potential for mass appeal. The groups progress is evident in every facet of Immortal Combat. From the cover art to the lyrical content, this project shows the maturity of Hostyle Gospel, not only as a rap group, but also as a ministry. Immortal Combat will be available on iTunes, Amazon, Napster, Rhapsody, and many other online retailers.
