Based on the hit cartoon series Charlie and Lola, the show will mix live action with puppetry and music to create an entertaining atmosphere with all the charm of the source material. Commenting on the heart-warming and funny story set to be acted out in Liverpool, the organisers asked: "Will Lola ever tidy her room and will Charlie get Lola to sleep, even though she is not sleepy and will not go to bed?" The two siblings share a wonderful friendship that allows them to overcome life's problems and mysteries, with older brother Charlie constantly there to support his little sister, who he describes as being "small and very funny". While the play is aimed at younger children, the warmth of the story is sure to appeal to parents as well.
