The Scottish musician, who released her third studio album Tiger Suit in September last year, is set to perform at the south coast resort's O2 Academy on Friday March 4th. Her Bournemouth gig will form part of a tour that begins in Ireland on February 19th before making its way through the UK and on to venues across Europe and Japan. Tunstall is set to take a new band of musicians out on the road with her, including former Ash guitarist Charlotte Hatherley. A recent performance at Edinburgh's Hogmanay celebrations was praised by the Scotsman, which described some of the tracks from Tunstall's new album as "worthy of arenas". Born in the Scottish capital, the musician grew up in St Andrews and released her debut album Eye to the Telescope in 2004.
