Travellers keen to enjoy a spot of Latin culture during their stay in Sydney hotels next month should be sure not to miss out on the city's South American Festival.

Set to take place at Bondi Beach on February 13th 2011, the occasion - described by Waverley Council as one of the biggest in Sydney's events calendar - features a mix of music, dance, food and colour.

Among the acts set to wow the crowds, including people staying at cheap hotels in Sydney, are Mucho Mambo, who give big band, salsa and cha cha music a funky twist, as well as the Mexican, Argentine and Andean fusion of Victor Valdes and the Marin Brothers.

The latter will take to the stage at 13:30 local time, while the former will get the audience dancing along at 16:40.

Along with the music, people who have booked last minute hotel deals in the area will be able to show off their fancy footwork at one of the dance workshops, with salsa, tango and Zumba all set to feature.

Tickets for the occasion are priced at A$20 or A$15 for concessions, while under-12s can get in free. Proceedings will kick off at 13:00 and will run until 20:00.
