Ingleburn Alive will bring a wide array of free entertainment to the streets of the Sydney suburb next month.

The event takes place on March 19th 2011 and promises to provide fun for the whole family. The organisers have arranged rides, activities, street stalls, camel rides, a petting farm and more.

Luke Mitchell, also known as Romeo Smith from popular TV soap opera Home and Away, will be taking part in a meet-and-greet session throughout the day.

Also on the bill is a display from a wheelchair basketball team, a dance academy competition and a battle of the bands challenge. The latter will see local acts fight it out for prize money and a 30-minute slot on the stage later in the evening.

Clowns, a brass ensemble and choir groups will be taking the stage and a fireworks display in Milton Park will bring the proceedings to an end.

The event is scheduled to kick off at 11:00 local time and run until 20:30. It will be held on Oxford Road, around one km from Milton Park.

Ingleburn is around ten minutes' drive from south-west Sydney suburbs including Prestons, Casula and Hammondville.

Festival-goers looking for local Sydney hotels can visit LateRooms.com, which recommends a large selection of last minute hotel deals.
