ITB Berlin is an international trade fair for the travel sector that attracts nearly 180,000 visitors each year. The 2011 edition is due to run from Wednesday March 9th to Sunday March 13th at the Messe Berlin exhibition centre. Although it is largely geared towards professionals in the industry, the event is also open to the general public for the final two days. Members of the public can buy single admission tickets on March 12th and 13th for€14.50 (£12.40). The event will be open between 10:00 and 18:00 local time each day. After 14:00 on March 13th, last-minute tickets will be available at the reduced price of €8.
