Cee Lo Green is set to perform live at Berlin's Astra Kulturhaus next month.

Thanks to the runaway success of his third solo album The Lady Killer, the Atlanta-born singer is currently one of the biggest names in music.

He now has a string of European shows in the pipeline and also plans to hook up with Rihanna for a tour of the US and Canada.

Before that, fans can see him in Berlin on Friday April 8th - one of only two dates the artist has scheduled in Germany this year.

Cee Lo started out as a member of hip-hop group Goodie Mob and is a relative newcomer to the upper echelons of the charts as a solo artist, although he scored a global hit as one half of Gnarls Barkley in 2006.

Working with maverick producer Danger Mouse, his song Crazy reached number one in several countries around the world and dominated radio playlists for months.

In the UK, it became the first single to take the number one spot based on download sales alone.

After taking a break from recording, the vocalist resurfaced with Forget You - the edited version of a song that bore a slightly more offensive title in its original incarnation.

Cee Lo soon had another international hit on his hands, as the track reached number one in Britain and several other countries.

The buzz generated by this song saw The Lady Killer peak at number three on the albums chart when it was released in November last year.

Tickets for the 36-year-old's performance in Berlin are priced at €30.50 (£25.90) and can be purchased online. The music will begin at 20:00 local time.
