A double bill of operatic playlets is set to be performed at Bilbao's Teatro Arriaga in March.

Susana's Secret and The Human Voice will both utilise 20th-century music played by the Bilbao Symphony Orchestra to support their stories.

Taking place on March 25th and 26th, the show is directed by Jose Luis Castro.

In Susana's Secret, a jealous count becomes suspicious of his young wife when she hands a package to her maid, making him question her faithfulness.

Meanwhile, The Human Voice explores a telephone conversation between a couple who are breaking up, with only one side heard by the audience.

It is based on a play by avant-garde artist Jean Cocteau that has been adapted for stage and screen many times due to the strength of the concept.

Tickets range in price from €12 to €55 (£10.10 to £46.30) and are available online and at the box office. The action kicks off at 20:00 local time on both days.
