The race takes place on April 10th and sees participants begin the challenge on the iconic Champs-Elysees. Registration for the main race is closed, but people can still watch the action and cheer on those brave enough to attempt a full marathon. The first wave of the 40,000 registered runners will get going at 08:45 local time, the organisers have confirmed. Last year, the men's and women's events were won by the Ethiopians Tadesse Tola and Atsede Basya.
