The Place Prize Finals are happening in London next month and
audiences are a vital part of the competition, as they vote for the
winners.
Running from April 6th to 16th, the daily show will see dancers compete to win£1,000, which is awarded to the performer who receives the most nominations from the
crowd.
The finalists this year are Riccardo Buscarini & Antonio de la Fe Guedes, Ben Duke &
Raquel Meseguer, Eva Recacha and Frauke Requardt & Freddie Opoku-Addaie.
It has been a long road to the finals for the four shortlisted acts, with their
initial applications submitted more than a year ago.
All of the dancers will be keen to produce their best, as there is a £25,000 prize
for the overall winner of the competition, which is decided by a panel of judges.
The action will begin at 20:00 BST at Place, a venue close to Euston tube station.
Tickets to see the four acts perform cost between £6 and £25.
Dance enthusiasts who want to book London hotels for their city break can use LateRooms.com to check out a wide variety of options, such as the Astor Court Hotel London.
More information is available at www.theplaceprize.com or by contacting
the venue on 020 7383 5469.
