Imran Yusuf is due to perform at the venue on Wednesday April 13th as part of his debut stand-up tour. Born in Kenya but raised in London, the 31-year-old funnyman won critical acclaim for his solo show at the Edinburgh Festival last year. Having further boosted his profile with an appearance on Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, the comic is preparing to take his career to the next level with a 40-date jaunt around the UK this spring. Yusuf is known for his intelligent and energetic delivery, which he uses to offer a fresh and frequently hilarious take on contemporary issues. As well as being nominated for best newcomer at the Fosters Edinburgh Comedy Awards last year, he was dubbed the hardest working comedian in the Scottish capital after performing in more than 100 shows during August.
