DirectRooms.com highlights that a festival focusing exclusively on the tango will be coming to Florence in April and will be showcasing the best international dancers in the art form.

Running between 28th April and 1st May, Firenze Tango Festival 2011 is a celebration of dance and the tango and is inviting people to come along to enjoy the music and dance through the night and day.

The festival is designed for people to learn the steps and moves to make them look like a championship winning dancer, all the while ensuring that dancing is fun and enjoyable. A good number of instructors will feature throughout the event to give people one on one counselling as well as 30 major artists who will be conducting certain workshops.

Audiences can look forward to the main shows on the stage where the international artists will reveal the styles from their respective countries and the influences that inspire them to dance. Milonga sessions will also run in the afternoons and there will be a display of clothes and shoes designed especially for tango dancing.

Dance fans using Milan hotels can take the short journey over to Florence and take part in any one of the days or packages are available with lessons for the entire festival.
