Salinas uses the role of women as a starting point for much of her art and this topic dominates three of the areas, with the fourth one exploring the autonomy of a painting from its time of creation. Prensadas showcases the relative presence of females in the media; Vision de las Vencidas reflects on a book by the Mexican anthropologist Miguel Leon Portilla; and Espejo involves the Spanish word for woman - mujer - written out 40 times in different ways. Como Fondo uses press cuttings to investigate the link between great paintings and the eras in which they were made. People can reach the museum by taking the C-1 or C-2 bus services in the city centre.
