Top musicians from around the world will visit the Lake District for this year's Jennings Keswick Jazz Festival.

Now in its 20th year, the event is due to run from Thursday May 12th to Sunday May 15th and features a line-up of major international names alongside leading British talent.

Artists due to perform at the town's Theatre by the Lake next month include the Hot Antic Jazz Band from France, New Orleans trumpet legend Wendell Brunious and American pianist Jeff Barnhart.

UK-based performers such as Alan Barnes, Bruce Adams, Enrico Tomasso and Spats Langham will also participate in the festivities, with four-day 'stroller' tickets now available to buy for £95.

Day tickets are priced at £20 for Thursday May 12th, £25 for Friday May 13th, £35 for Saturday May 14th and £25 for the final day of the festival.

Music lovers can also pay to attend individual events, such as Keith Nichols: My Life in Classic Jazz on Saturday morning. This session, in which Nichols will reflect on more than 40 years as a professional musician, is priced at £5.
