Running from Friday April 29th to Sunday May 8th 2011, the occasion is free to attend and will host a programme of cultural walks and exhibitions over the course of the event. "Spring on the Waterfront is set to be a fantastic event and it's a real credit to the maritime industry and other regional organisations who have worked with us at short notice to make it possible," commented Liverpool City Council head of events Judith Feather in a statement. There will be a real energy in the air throughout, since street performers will be dotted around the area and two regattas are taking place.
