LateRooms.com - Madrid hosts El Tiempo Amarillo Exhibition

Running until May 31st 2011 at the Museo del Traje, the show uses pictures by some of Spain's most famous photographers to look at how the country has changed over the years. Luis Escobar, Alfredo Schommer and Ouka Leele are some of the most notable contributors to the project, which offers a unique take on the transformation of Spain via the jobs represented in the Yellow Pages, or Las Paginas Amarillas in Spanish. The exhibition, which features 76 images, has been organised to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the publication. There are also several audiovisual projects to enjoy. Admission costs €3 (£2.65), with the museum opening from 09:30 to 19:00 local time Tuesday to Saturday and 10:00 to 15:00 on Sunday. It is closed on Monday.
