Indie rock trio Johnny Foreigner are due to play live at the Norwich Arts Centre next month.

The Birmingham band's show on Thursday May 26th will be the penultimate date in their headline tour of venues across the UK and Europe.

With support provided by local favourites We Can't Dance, the gig is part of the Norwich Fringe Festival and promises to be a memorable occasion for fans of lo-fi indie music.

Formed in 2006, Johnny Foreigner have so far released two acclaimed studio albums and toured with the likes of Los Campesinos, Hundred Reasons and Blood Red Shoes.

Their second LP, Grace and the Bigger Picture, hit the shops in October 2009 and was praised by critics for building on the strengths of their debut release Waited Up 'til It Was Light.

Tickets to see the group perform at the Norwich Arts Centre are now available, priced at £5 in advance or £7 on the door.

Long-running Norwich indie nights WombatWombat and HowlBack Hum will host the event.
