American teen pop sensation Miley Cyrus will bring her world tour to the Philippines towards midway through next month.

The performer shot to global fame playing Miley Stewart and the title character in Disney Channel comedy Hannah Montana.

As well as starring in the TV series, she has appeared in Hannah Montana: The Movie and provided the voice for Penny in animated film Bolt. She also earned a Golden Globe nomination for Bolt's theme song, I Thought I Lost You.

In recent years, the singer has started to appeal to a more mainstream pop audience with the release of EP The Time of our Lives, featuring hit singles such as Party in the USA.

Cyrus, the daughter of Achy Breaky Heart singer Billy Ray, is scheduled to play at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City on June 17th.

Tickets for the concert range in price from 650 Philippine pesos (£9) for a standing place to 7,640 Philippine pesos for a reserved seat in the VIP area.

The gig is due to get underway at 20:00 local time.
