DirectRooms.com – Euroferia Andaluza 2011 to be held in Brussels from 1 to 5 June 2011
Released on: May 10, 2011, 4:03 am This year makes Euroferia Andaluza the 19th annual international festival. It is one of the largest feria in all of Europe. This flamboyant festival is set to take place from Wednesday, 1st June until midnight on Sunday, 5th June. With mounds of cultural festivals and a wide range of speciality food and folklore, it is a celebration to not be missed. This year the Euroferia will once again be celebrated at the foot of the Atomium. These five days of festivities draw in crowds of more than 200,000 visitors during the span of the fiesta. Visitors arriving from out of town may want to consider a nearby hotel Brussels Airport which has numerous options in close proximity to the event. Special events for the Euroferia include a parade of horses and carriages on Friday, June 3rd as well as horse shows in the evenings from Thursday to Sunday. There will be several live artistic performances and cultural shows in the Casetas. There will also be arts and crafts and amusements for the children. The décor and set up of the casetas and grounds are in authentic Andalusian Ferias tradition. It will have a unique atmosphere, with strolling horses, lanterns, and people dressed in original flamenca, which are dresses for the women and de corto, traditional dress for the men. The event will be colourful as is the traditional celebration setting with endless flamenco dancing and singing. There will be five large patios or casetas. Each will have its own programmes of entertainment.
